Nothing overly interesting

Well, unfortunately I missed last Thursday, and now it is Monday! Tomorrow I get to have a glorious sleep in, and as such have gone to bed without doing the dishes as I am stuffed. One assignment due Wednesday and two for Thursday. Then a little reprise over the Easter break.

Becky and I are back onto the healthy eating (at least for 36 hours so far!) which last time was great till I ended up in hospital, not related to the diet.

I don't really have that much to talk about at the moment. I've been learning a new song on the piano - B Minor Waltz by Bill Evans and I've finally started writing up parts of my book! Maybe next time I'll post a small section.

Cheers to Chris and Sam for my awesome present that helps me keep all my iSupplies charged and to Kaila for coming out with us :) also to Julia for my books :)

I'm kind of just rambling this week, nothing overly interesting to talk about. Perhaps tomorrow when I should be studying ill be able to focus better on blogging.

The week that was

Woo, I'm 26!! My wonderful wife got me a ukulele for my birthday!! Yay!! I loves you bub :D! (Not just coz of the uke...)

In other news, the uni gave me an ipad for the rest of the semester, so that's pretty awesome! I loves it :)

My placement this week was awesome, I took pretty much the whole day, and although my lessons ran a bit longer than they should have, the kids really enjoyed it! Got all the correction done before I went home as well :D! No more placement for a few weeks, so I can focus on my assignments, and it seems that assignments come out of nowhere really fast, even though I'm all prepared with my special little app that tells me when stuff is due.

Overview of the assignments and where they are at...

• Writing a "Science" Journal - Week late, doing that as soon as I get home tonight (someone left their unit guide at home!)
• Rationale for science subject - It's on it's way (sorry team superfriends!!)
• Unit Guide for Creativity - Almost complete, due tomorrow, just the lessons left to write, that shouldn't take too long :)
• Exploration of Indigenous culture - I've made the powerpoint... waiting on the video so we can get started... hopefully we get to go next next week and not next week.
• Fieldnotes about a highschool are due in a few weeks :\ as well as my action plan in regards to what I still need to learn in order to be a damned good teacher :D
  

Other Information that may not be relevant to anything:

My favourite song at the moment is Always by Panic! At the Disco... I'm currently learning to play it on piano :)

I went to uni today to do my homework so I wouldn't get distracted.. forgot my unit guide for the science subject, so I can't really do anything about it till I get home. Sucks (That's 2 assessments!!)

Interesting thought: If you think you are too small to have an impact, try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room... Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday love through the week!

I'm think about making a youtube video of the song "If I Had a Million Dollars". Maybe on the holidays :)

Also, if someone could remind me that I'm going to try and update this every week on a Thursday, that would be awesome :D
